Vehicle Description
There's a lot to like about this 1992 Chevrolet Silverado Dually.
Starting up front, there's a stroked small block. A popular mod
that brings the cubes up to 383, with a corresponding increase in
torque - nice to have in a truck. The engine is a fresh build. It
inhales through a big open-element chrome air cleaner and exhales
through a set of headers to a dual exhaust system producing an
authoritative sound. Power is transmitted through a new 700R4
automatic for driving ease and dependability. Outside, the truck is
striking, with a fresh application of 2014 Tuxedo Black paint. The
all-important stance is spot on with staggered Coys wheels and a
lowered attitude. Because this is a dually, it offered an extra
bonus in terms of rear fenderwell roominess. What do you do with
all the room? How about wheels that are a giant 15 inches wide
mounted on tires from one of the few manufacturers that offer such
a huge size - Mickey Thompson. The Silverado interior is plenty
plush, so it was wisely left intact. Slip into the handsome gray
cloth bucket seat to see one of the nicest dash layouts ever in a
pickup. A big tach and well-positioned, readable auxiliary gauges
are front and center. Flip on the air conditioning, roll up the
power windows, crank up the Bluetooth-equipped sound system, and
feel the pull of that great engine. Performance, killer looks with
just the right stance, and sumptuous luxury. And under that
great-looking black cover there's an 8-foot bed, so you can
actually haul stuff. You can spend a lot of quality time with this
1992 Silverado Dually. Could this be love?
