Vehicle Description
1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 car that still has many of the key
components intact minus the 409 engine and is a major project.
Factory colors were Roman red with red interior, 409 fan shroud and
409 radiator intact, T-10 4-speed intact, posi-traction rear with P
on case still in the car, all SS trim still intact including
emblems, grab bar, console and more. Part of the EB9A tach sending
unit still attached to the fender well. Old pit passes and more
found in the car where it used to run at Suffolk Dragway back in
the day. American Racing style period mags are included. The
original owner parked it about 1984 and its sat ever since. The car
is very rusty and will need complete floors, rockers, trunk floor,
1/4's and more. The frame appears good with no rust out seen. The
409 motor is long gone and in its place is a 70's era small block
we believe is a 350 with 4 barrel, early Corvette valve covers and
headers. Would be a major restoration project or a great donor car
if you have a nice 2 door hardtop body. Clear title. Please Note
