Vehicle Description
This 1979 Ford F250 is a super clean survivor truck from the
Oregon. Pretty original unmolested truck except for the repaint.
This is a "Custom", but it came with a lot of options including
side moldings, wheel well moldings, chrome bumpers, AC (needs
service but everything there), cruise (everything there but not
working), and Box Side Toolbox. The body and paint on this truck
are really nice. From what we can see it looks to have all of the
original metal and it is very straight. It had a repaint in the
original color of Medium Vaquero Metallic that looks excellent.
They did a very nice job on the paint and they also line-xed the
bed. The interior is really nice as well. All of the gauges work
and they added a nice stereo. The interior has been very well kept
and everything is original except for the seat which came out of a
newer Ford (Comfortable).
This truck runs and drives excellent!! The 351M V8 runs strong and
smooth and you can tell by looking at it and how it runs it was
rebuilt at some point. It has an edelbrock intake and 4 Barrel
Holley Carb. The engine is tuned right and it runs excellent. It
also has dual exhaust for a nice sound. The Tranny is the C6
Automatic that shifts perfect and it is mated to the NP205 Transfer
Case. The rear end is a Dana 60 and the front end is a Dana 44.
They both have 4.11 Gears. The truck was mechanically restored 2-3
years ago by the last owner and that included the engine, gearbox,
brake system, and whatever else it need to make it a great driving
and tight truck. When we drove it we were very pleased on how nice
it ran and drove. All of the lights, blinkers, wipers, etc were
working. Really really nice truck!!
We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make sure it
is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can
give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs
and drives.
