Vehicle Description

This is one extremely well-prepared truck for extreme off roading. If you are checking this vehicle out, you may be either thinking about trying some adventure traveling, or have done some already and know how sweet this build is. The adventure comes from a couple places. One is you. Your desire to bust through normal boundaries and rely on your ability to meet the challenges along the way. The other is the vehicle. This truck is capable of taking you further out through mud, water crossings, over rocks, and up and down severe slopes so that you can find your remote piece of paradise to set up camp. There are way too many awesome details about this truck to list everything out right here. We will hit the highlights, but to get the full story, call or come down to check it out. And, you can check out the complete build process on PowerNation TV, XOR.

As soon as anyone sees it, they will know what this truck is all about. The patina paint will immediately make you look like an experienced veteran of the off-road scene, even if you are not. But things go way beyond looks here. It is obviously ready for action sitting up on those Mickey Thompson 17" wheels with 37X12.50s mounted. There is also protection built in on all sides. Up front is a custom bumper with a stinger extension surrounding the Warn winch along with a couple auxiliary lights mounted to it. There are stout side bars under the rockers for when that substantial lift still doesn't provide enough clearance, and out back there is another custom bumper and spare tire carrier. Up top there is an ARB full sized roof tent along with an awning mounted on a D&C Extreme 6-point cage with plenty more lighting mounted both front and rear. To extend your range, auxiliary fuel tanks are mounted to the sides of the cage and a very creative water reserve system can provide the luxury of a nice shower while you are out there.

Open the door and you will find a well-equipped command center for extreme adventures. Procar leather seats with PRP 5-point harnesses are both comfortable for cruising as well as a safe and secure place to get serious. A beefy wooden steering wheel is mounted on a deep dish 3-spoke hub and tilt column. The stock dash has the speedo in the center with water temp and oil pressure gauges on the left and a panel with auxiliary rocker switches and a programable MSD ignition controller on the right. The shifters for the automatic transmission as well as the transfer case rise from the tunnel. Behind the seats is a Westin Brute box with slide out drawer for tools and spares with a 3000-watt inverter and auxiliary battery mounted on one side, an air compressor on the other, along with a refrigerator mounted on top.

Pop the hood and you will find an LS based 5.3L LM7 engine swap from Chevrolet Performance that generates 400+ horsepower. Plenty of fresh air is supplied to a Holley Atomic Air Force intake that draws through a 90MM throttle body and an Atomic LS EFI system outfitted with 38lb injectors handles the fuel delivery. Trick Flow Gen X 225 LS cylinder heads work their combustion magic with the help of MSD Pro Power coils and wires, and Headers from Anything Scout get the spent gases headed out through Magnaflow mufflers. An aluminum Summit Racing radiator with electric fan keeps everything running cool even under pressure. Power flows back through a TH 400 transmission with Hughes flex plate to an Atlas transfer case and then out to the front and rear axles rebuilt with 4.56 gears and Detroit lockers. Chassis lift is provided by a DCS heavy duty leaf spring kit with Bilstein remote reservoir shocks keeping things under control. The steering system has been upgraded with a PCS hydraulic assist conversion along with new knuckles, drag links and ball joints and power 4-wheel disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power.

This awesome truck was built by the pros at PowerNation TV and is ready for action. Come on down and see for yourself. Then head out and find your own adventures with it.
