MECHANICAL
Less than 100 miles on 475+ HP 383 Stroker Motor and newly rebuilt wide ratio Muncie 4 speed tranny. Doug's Headers and side pipe exhaust (note - exhaust not legal in California). Exhaust was ceramic coated to reduce heat / burn issues.
Motor is designed to be high torque, high horsepower very street-able racing motor. Meaning, it's meant for the street but is a capable racing motor. Motor was designed and blueprinted by Blue Oval Performance Engineering. Some specifics on the motor include:
*Early Casting 4 bolt main 350 block. Core block was stripped and hot tanked. Shot peened to remove all surface rust and clean the water jackets for better cooling. magnuflux to check for any cracks before starting machining.
Machining: Milled main caps and aligned & honed main saddles w/ARP bolts; squared deck to target height on the CNC; stroker clearance; tapped front oil galleys for threaded plugs; bore and hone w/Torque Plates using ARP head bolts and gaskets to properly replicate cylinder bore distortion; pin fit new Scat connecting rods; balance rotating assembly; jet clean AND hand wash block; press fit cam bearings (NOT the old hammer method) and install core and oil galley plugs.
Parts: Early casting 4 bolt main 350 block; SCAT cast stroker crank and Pro-Comp I-Beam rods with 7/16 cap screw bolts; Romac billet damper; McLeod HiPerf clutch kit; H-Series performance main/rod&cam bearings; Mahle forged & coated pistons w/premium rings; brass block plug kit; AFR 195 alum cylinder heads w/hyd roller spring and 7/16 stud upgrades; hyd roller cam w/link-bar conversion hyd roller lifters; Rollmaster billet multi-index timing set; HiPerf 1pc .080" wall c-moly push rods; alum roller rockers; Melling Select Premium oil pump w/HD drive and large tube pick-up; Felpro performance gaskets; ARP head, main and pressure plate bolt sets; HD damper bolt & cam gear bolts; alum high rise intake manifold; alum high flow water pump; special high zinc break-in oil.
