This is a great example of a period correct Chevy 3100 from 1954. The truck appears to have been restored in the past and shows extremely well. This is a great driver quality truck with potential for both the purist and restomod buyer.
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Straight body with minimal rust.
- Interior: Original dash, uncut and unmolested.
- Glass/Windows: Driver side window rolls up and down easily. Passenger side window glass track will need to be replaced. No cracks or chips.
- Bed: New pine wood bed and hardware. Unfinished to allow new owner to choose what color they would prefer.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame rails. Very solid original floor pan.
- Wheels/Tires: New black wall tires on original wheels with matching hubcaps.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 235 engine starts easily and runs strong. New water pump. New Pertronix electric ignition, MSD coil, plugs, and wires. 3-speed manual shifts through all of the gears smoothly. All fluids have been changed. It drives very nice for a 60 year old truck!
- Lights/Electrical: Replaced the entire wiring harness with an American Autowire kit and upgraded from the 6v to 12v system. Turn signal switch installed. All of the lights work. Original gauges.
- Brakes: New drums all around. Rebuilt master cylinder. Brakes have been serviced.
