1969 Chevrolet Corvette

Having received a complete re-design both inside and outside, the C3 Corvettes of the chrome bumper era remain a favorite of collectors and car enthusiasts. Stingray remained the cars identifier, and 1969 was the first year of the 350 V-8 being available. The optional manual transmission was typically mated to a posi-traction rear-end and 1969 was the only year the front fender vent trim was available. The coupes in the model year had removable roof panels which were quite popular. The interior received upgrades including ignition switch moving to the column from the dash, revised door panels allowing for improved shoulder room, headrests became standard and the steering was changed from 16″ to 15″ to permit easier entry and exit.
The car presented at auction is a well preserved example of the iconic Stingray. The 350 V-8 was rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago and an MSD electronic ignition was installed. The 350 motor is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and posi-traction rearend. The car runs and drives good and presents itself well.
