Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Body is fairly straight and minimal rust overall. Paint is flat black. This would be a great truck to do a satin black paint job to give it a bumper to bumper finish.
- Interior: Original dash is uncut, brand new gauges and all functional except the speedometer. Grant steering wheel, 70s steering tilt steering column.
- Glass/Windows: Windows roll up and down easily. Passenger side glass is cracked. the rest of the glass is in original condition. Corner glass pieces are in great shape.
- Trunk: Steel bedding looks good with access panel to fuel cell underneath.
- Undercarriage: Very solid undercarriage with rust free frame rails and full Camaro clip installed. Floor pans appear to be rust free, inner cab corners have a bit of rust, but the outer cab corners have been replaced with new steel.
- Wheels/Tires: Old Craiger wheels show their age, tires have good tread. Front tires rub the fenders in a sharp turn. The drivers rear wheel is in question and may be broken. We suggest replacing with an new set of wheels.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: 454 engine starts easily and runs very strong. 700R4 honestly is not shifting as smoothly as I would like, and probably needs to be adjusted or serviced. The truck runs out with plenty of power and drives nice down the road. Highway speeds are easy and smooth with the drivetrain upgrade and Camaro front suspension. Rear suspension is a little stiff.
- Lights/Electrical: Runing lights and brake lights are all working. New gauges are all functional, fuel gauge may read backwards (Im not sure).
- Brakes: Power disc brakes stop straight and strong.
- Power Options: Power steering makes her easy to turn in the tight spots.
