Jaguar E-type Series 1 convertible 1961 Outside bonnet lock
This beautiful Jaguar E-type Series 1, 3.8 liter is one of the first E-types that have been built. This is a very early E-type with "Flat-Floor" and the "Outside Bonnet Lock". This makes this a very popular type and version of the E-type, because not long after the introduction the bonnet closures were moved inwards and the floor design was changed.
This manual E-type has been beautifully restored in the years 2015 to 2017 by a German Jaguar specialist with mainly, but not completely, original parts. For further details ask our specialists. The restoration has been completely body-off and all technical parts have also been overhauled and / or rebuilt. The periodically correct 3.781 cc 6-cylinder engine of this E-type is not the matching engine. The color of this Jaguar E-type is Opalescent Bronze with a Suede Green leather interior. The Sonnenland soft-top is executed in the colour Sand. According to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, these are the original colours of the car.
