2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster
"One thing is for sure: The 2003 Viper feels locked down, stable,
less likely to flick out the tail. The steering is linear,
accurate, and organic. It inspires massive confidence. And the
levels of grip are nothing short of awesome. Even pushing the car
hard around the artificial curves inside the avenues of cones, the
Viper would cling well beyond the expectations most people have of
available grip, and when it did start to relinquish its resolute
grasp of the line, the transition seemed gradual and easy to read."
- Car and Driver
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present this quintessential
"garage-kept" example. This is a one-owner Viper was custom ordered
brand new by our client and has only 6,778 original miles recorded.
It is a time piece and certainly an appreciating asset.
2003 marked the first year of the redesigned second generation
Viper. Dodge engineered over 100 changes from the first generation
car, and all were better. Performance, handling, comfort, etc. all
were given top marks. Only 1,875 were made in total, and this car
was ordered in Viper Red Clearcoat with a black soft top and
matching black interior. It is powered by the venomous 8.3L/500hp
V10 mated to a proper 6-Speed Manual gearbox with rear wheel drive.
Other noteworthy features include four wheel independent
suspension, four-wheel ABS disc brakes with Viper calipers, power
windows, integrated roll-over protection, easy folding soft top,
AC, suede and leather bucket seats, keyless entry with trunk
release, 6-disc CD player, and order with Customer Preferred
Package 21A. The car also comes with the original window sticker
stating this vehicle was built especially for "our client." It
comes with a Viper car cover and bag too. Original MSRP was
$83,795. A pretty penny in 2003, and probably a premium added on
for being a new release.
This Viper checks off a lot of boxes: Red, Drop-Top, V10, Manual,
RWD - all the elements of the perfect sports car. Combine that with
a one owner and less than 7,000 miles, and you have something very
special. A future collector car at a very reasonable asking price.
It is essentially a brand new vehicle that has always been
maintained/stored with care. All it needs now is a new garage to
call home. Be sure to check out all the photos and video on our
main website: Garage Kept Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with
any questions. Thank you for looking.
