This rust free 1956 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is a started and 60% done (or more) frame off restoration on a rust free Southern California car.
There was very minor rust at the very rear left corner of the trunk floor and just in front of the left rear wheel, we cut out the rust and welded in fresh metal so the car is 100% rust free now. You can not find a better body!!!
EVERYTHING mechanically has been rebuilt with no consideration of the cost.
The fun stuff is left to do, paint, interior and assembly.
The best engine builder in Phoenix did a total rebuilt of the engine, the transmission was rebuilt, front end is new, brakes inc the power booster is rebuilt, the rear end is rebuilt.
Everything on the engine has also been rebuilt, the carburetor, starter, generator, distributor, water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump etc, etc.
The frame was blasted, all crappy factory welds were redone before it was primered and painted black, all chassis parts were also blasted and painted.
The body is sitting on a roll around chassis so the body can be painted on that chassis and then moved to the redone chassis.
The car also comes with many, many parts, new windshield, recored radiator, new rubber, new tail lights, new radiator hoses, blasted and powder coated original rims, hubcaps, stainless trim and there's two or three extra of many parts.
A total of over $30.000 has been spent so far, we are moving our restoration shop and will be selling everything for $13.500 for a fast sale.
