Vehicle Description
Spring time is coming. Time to go out and play. And this K5 Blazer
is the perfect vehicle for that. Check it out.
The paint on this truck is so nice that it would almost be a shame
to take it out in the wood and take a chance of scratching it up.
Almost. But don't fret about it too much. That beautiful Dark Green
is covered in a coat of clear, so if you get a little too up close
and personal with nature you will be able to polish it back out. As
you cruise around town with it, people will look on with envy
because they know that sitting up on those 35s with a little bit of
lift, you can get to places with it that they only see in pictures.
With the roof on, its good to go anywhere and anytime in the snow.
With the roof off, its ready to load up friends for an open-air
Friday night cruise or a ride down to the beach or river party.
Open the door and use the thoughtfully provided step to climb up
and inside. There you will find a simple but comfortable Black
interior. The molded door panel has a solidly mounted pull handle
as well as a speaker that pumps the sounds out from the Sony head
unit that is AM/FM/CD and iPod compatible for your listening
pleasure. A three-spoke steering wheel has a bowtie center button
and is mounted on a tilt column along with the shifter for the
automatic transmission. Behind it is a dashboard with sharp, clean
gauges that are easy to read with the speedometer on the left, fuel
gauge on the right and engine gauges for water temp, oil pressure
and voltage across the bottom. Between the front bucket seats is a
large center console with great storage and couple of cup holders.
The shifter for the transfer case rises from the floor in front of
it, and a nice roll cage provides safety as well as hand holds for
the back-seat passengers on the way down to the lake.
Open the hood and you will find a healthy 350 cubic inch motor
nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. The motor is topped by
a chrome filter housing that feeds plenty of clean air to an
Edelbrock carburetor and polished Edelbrock intake manifold. Chrome
valve covers add their splash of flash and long tube headers get
the spent gasses out to Flowmaster mufflers which give this truck a
nice sound. Signs of good maintenance are obvious with fresh belts
and hoses as well as ignition components. Multi-leaf springs both
front and rear are enhanced with a bit of lift and fresh shocks at
all four corners as well as a couple on the steering linkage help
keep things under control. Power front disc brakes provide good
stopping ability and those 35X12.50R15 tires are mounted on Rally
wheels with chrome center caps and trim rings.
Cruising through town, or cruising through the woods, top on or top
off, this truck can get you where you want to go in style. Come on
down and check it out. Then take it home and head out for wherever
that is. We guarantee this K5 can get you there.
