Vehicle Description
Cruise down any boulevard or highway behind the wheel of this 1967
Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle Resto-Mod and the heads are guaranteed to
turn. It's about as fresh off its build as a car can be - just
enough to exit the shop and make its way home, in fact - and
features just the rumbling, big block power under its hood that you
would expect from a ride with such a superbly-crafted, aggressive
appearance.
Sure, you may see a first edition Chevelle on the street from time
to time - they're always a welcome sight - but it's a pretty strong
bet you won't come across anything like this one. It's got a look
like no other, starting with an exterior draped in white paint
that's absolutely show quality, with just the right amount of pearl
added to the mixture before application to really make this car
radiate when exposed to sunlight. There are all sorts of
modifications on display here - all of which have been performed
with some serious skill to arrive at an outstanding end result. The
front and rear bumpers have been reworked for a smoother
appearance, then color matched and tucked in closer to the rest of
the exterior. There are no door handles in sight, as they've been
replaced by oval shaped fixtures to open the doors that sit flush
to the body of this classic. The customary trim on both sides of
the cabin gives way to smoothed metallic edges that surround the
windows and this Chevy's badgeless appearance really allows its
stellar paint to take center stage.
There's absolutely no let up to the excellence when you enter the
doors and experience the fully custom red leather interior with its
showstopping array of features - beginning with a pair of
impressively crafted contoured bucket seats that straddle a center
console accented by a Lokar shifter and a pair of billet
cupholders. As the console arches upward, it features a pair of the
in-dash vents that bring warm or cool air into the cabin as needed
via an aftermarket climate control system before giving way to a
dash area that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Just beyond
the billet steering wheel with its leather wrap coordinated to
match the rest of the interior, there's a Dakota Digital Vex gauge
cluster in place, with a smoothed custom dash face on the remaining
surface.
Raise the hood and you'll come face to face with a strikingly
modified engine compartment that has an absolutely killer look.
Every surface inside wears a matte-finished red paint and an array
of billet components are in place below. There's a 6.0 liter LS V8
waiting under its enclosure to spring into action, armed with a 102
mm intake that pairs with a matching throttle body, milled
cathedral port heads, a custom ground Texas Speed cam and an
assortment of other top shelf performance components and it
breathes out of its ceramic long tube headers into a
stainless-steel exhaust. The engine pairs with an automatic 4180e
transmission whose overdrive gear brings down revs during highway
cruising - imagine the looks you'll get when you're out there
behind the wheel. An E-level Accu Air full air ride system makes
for plenty of height adjustability, while tubular upper and lower
control arms, front and rear sway bars and a 4-link rear suspension
provide outstanding ride quality and handling. The power disc
brakes at all four corners have rotors that have been slotted and
drilled for optimal heat dissipation and billet Magnum wheels
finish off the jaw-dropping appearance of this truly one of a kind
classic Chevy.
Sheer excellence of customization combines with brute force lurking
under the hood and a front to back array of top tier components to
make this 1967 Chevrolet Malibu Chevelle Resto-Mod an absolute
category-killer. Call today!
