1966 Ford Mustang Coupe Resto-Mod
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to offer this nicely restored first
generation Mustang for consideration. The vehicle was completely
restored in 2016 by Mr. Malik of Latrobe, PA, with $25k invested in
parts alone. The car was then purchased by our client in Florida,
who just bought a 1973 Mach 1 from us, and shipped this Mustang up
here. It is a top end mechanical build with some tasteful enhance
performance elements.
The car is finished in teal with metal flake over a refinished
black interior with bucket seats. It is powered by a professionally
built 302ci V8 with EFI, Dyno tested at 400hp with 370 ft/lbs of
torque. Noteworthy specs include Seasoned OE Roller Block, 4.040 x
3 Stroke, OE Ford Cast 3-inch 1 Piece Seal Externally Balanced 50oz
Crankshaft, OE Steel Rod 5.4-inch Connecting Rods, Hypereutectic
Flat Top Pistons, Moly Piston Rings, 9.5:1 Compression Ratio,
Hydraulic Roller Camshaft, Dart Pro 1 Aluminum Heads, Billet
Aluminum Rocker Arms, OE Front Sump Oil Pan, and much more (see
photos for full spec sheet). Other cool options include Borgeson
Power Steering, Detroit Speed Dear Rear Tub Kit, American Racing
Outlaw wheels, and Open Header Switch inside the car (see video).
It also has an MSD Atomic EFI Throttle Body System and AutoLite
Radio with Aux Input.
This is a great build offered at a price you could not replicate
yourself. It fires on command and runs great with the electronic
fuel ignition. Turn-key and ready for a new home. Be sure to check
out all the photos and video on our main website: Garage Kept
Motors. Call if interested or e-mail with any questions. Thank you
for looking.
