A beautiful example of a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 440 that was born red with black interior and with air conditioning. This is a stunning rotisserie restoration with all the original sheet metal. As the vin indicates, this car is a true 440 that was built on Tuesday October 21, 1970, in Los Angeles CA. This is a show quality restoration completed by a true Moper builder and enthusiast. It was truly a labor of love. Everything was restored according to the E-body manual. The boday was very straight with excellent gaps. As the fender tag indicates, the the original exterior color code is FE2, wich is red. The beautiful red paint is ocean deep. The rear spoiler was added to improve the appearance. It has the following codes: V21 Hood Blackout, G33 & G31 LH/RH remote mirrors, J25 3=speed wipers and M21 Drip Moldings. This car sites on the correct 14" Rally Wheels and Goodyear Polyglas F-70 tires. The exterior is complimented with the original color black interior, which is code HEX9. It also has the additional codes, N85 Tachometer, R11 AM Radio, A67 Rally Gauges, C16 Console and C55 Bucket seats. The highly detailed Engine Compartment is stunning and very correct. It houseds a date coded 440 V-8 that has been completely rebuilt. The Engine is coupled with a D32 727 Automatic. It also has N41 Dual Exhaust, N42 Dual Exhaust Tips. The trunk compartment is very detailed and correct. The undercarriage is also very detailed and correct.
