1962 Ford Fairlane 500 original 221v8 and 2 speed automatic
trans.54,000 actual miles. found this car in a garage where its
been sitting for 20 years have pics of the car right where it was
found. the floors and trunk are original and solid with zero rust.
The original sound deadening material is under the carpet. the car
had one repaint since 62, sanded the car to bare metal, repainted
it in the correct Corinthian white. There is no filler on the car
at all. All original metal. the seats, headliner, and carpet are
correct color according to the trim tag The previous owner said the
motor was rebuilt from intake to oil pan in the 90s before it was
parked in 99. Oil pan and valve covers were removed for inspection.
Everything looks new and fresh. The original 2 barrel intake and
carb were replaced with an edelbrock 4 barrel setup. Bought a new
carb because the one it had needed to be replaced, have the
originals, and they will go with the car. Brand new electronic
distributor replaced old points. replaced the original generator
with a 130 amp alternator, high end bluetooth sound system
installed, original will go with the car. Wheels not original, so
replaced them with some 17' torque thrust style wheels with new
tires. All the trim and stainless are in excellent shape. window
felts, door jamb, trunk seals like new. brand new gas tank,sending
unit,straps. brand new lokar cable gas pedal. all aftermarket
gauges installed. brakes redone on all 4 corners. glass clear as
new. everything works properly. new trunk mat. brand new dual
exhaust with Glasspacks and tips that turn out in front of the rear
