For Sale: 1967 Ford Mustang in Alpharetta, Georgia

Vehicle Description

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, 1967 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK RESTO MOD, PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED, UPGRADED WITH BUILT 351W V8, TREMEC T-5 SPEED, POWER STEERING, POWER FRONT DISC BRAKES, VINTAGE AIR CONDITIONING AND MORE...READY TO SHOW AND GO!!!

This stunning Candy Apple Red '67 Fastback is in amazing condition top to bottom! As you will see the body was tastefully modified with some Shelby cues and some Eleanor touches resulting in a Pony fastback that will turn heads wherever it goes and take home trophies as well if desired. The gentleman I purchased this beauty from had bought it a little under 3 years ago. The paint, body, drive train and interior were already done and this was really his dream car. He was not happy with the stock suspension and steering so those were nicely upgraded. He was living in Florida so Vintage Air Conditioning was a necessity. He went through the car from front to back to make sure this car would be an absolute blast to drive and would be reliable at the same time. Well sometimes life gets in the way of our dream cars and with a son getting ready to go to college the difficult decision to sell the toy had to be made. Bummer for him but super lucky for the next owner who is going to be smiling from ear to ear when this beauty arrives to their garage. I will do my best to provide enough pics, a video and an honest decription to help you decide if this is the Classic Mustang you have been searching for. I am also a transport borker and can assist with open or enclosed tranport anywhere in the country. I also welcome overseas buyers and can assist in getting the car to the port of your choice. Sit back and enjoy!

Paint and Body on this '67 Fastback are drop dead gorgeous...the paint almost looks wet,the body lines are super straight, and body panels gap are excellent! As the MARTI report shows this is an original Candy Apple Red car and the car was repainted in a color close to factory but nicer! The paint and body work is believed to have been done about 5 years ago. Absolutely rust free body and near flawless! As you can see it has some nice modifications some of which bring in some Shelby touches and others like an Eleanor. The Scoops on the upper rear quarter panels are open and functional and will let air flow in to the cabin if the interior vents are opened. The hood is a steel hood so fit is excellent. The Shelby style stripes are buried under the clear coat. It is very difficult to find any flaws along the body but to be safe perhaps there is a rock chip or two that I missed. I did notice one small chip on the drivers front fender edge that was touched up. Bumpers and chrome looks excellent. Glass all looks excellent and front and rear glass was resealed by previous owner. Weatherstripping was all replaced at time of restoration. Check out the walk around photo tour of the body and you wil see how nice it is.

Complimenting the glistening Candy Apple Red exterior is the stock Black interior that appears to have been completely redone about 5 years ago at the same time as the exterior. Seats are super comfortable and in beautiful condition. Fold Down rear seat functions correctly. Door panels, dash pad, and carpeting all look fantastic. Nice after market center console wraps around the shifter and provides cup holders and storage. Custom modern digital stereo added that has a classic look but has an adaptor for your phone or music device. Great sound from the speakers mounted in the kick panels up front and the 6x9 speakers behind the rear seat. On those hot days you can crank up the Vintage Air Conditiong to keep you cool. Nice aftermarket wood stering wheel and pony floor mats finsih out the interior. All of the lights and gauges appear to be working correctly and a tachometer was added to the gauge cluster in the center. Overall, the interior looks close to brand new and shows beautifully.

But does she run and drive as good as she looks?? You bet she does!!! Under the hood you will find a nicely built 351W V8 pushing out an estimated 300hp with a nice mild street cam with under 10,000 miles on the build. Fuel flows through a Quick Fuel 4bbl Carburetor sitting atop an Edelbrock Perfromaer intake and breathes out the stock manifolds through a sweet sounding dual exhaust with Thrush mufflers that provide that sweet muscle car tone. For spirited driving combined with great cruising ability a Tremec 5-speed was installed allowing you to cruise at 75 mph at about 2500 rpm while still having some serious fun off the line. Rear end is a 9" Ford limited slip posi-trac with 3.55 gears. Handling is tight and right with completely new suspension set up with 1" lowering springs and reverse eye rear leaf springs. Steering is a breeze with the rack and pinion system combined with electric steering from epower steering. Power front disc brakes has you stopping on a dime. This powerful pony runs nice and cool with aluminum raidator and electric fans. Pop the hood and show off this beautiful motor with the CVF Racing 8 groove pulley set up. Truly set up to show and go!!! Of course lets not forget a great stance with the 17x8 Eleanor style wheels wrapped in close to new radials. Undercarriage and floorpans look fantastic with no rust issues. Same with the trunk which is rock solid.

Make sure you watch the video for a quick wlk around tour and a chance to hear this Pony start up and running.
