Background: The fifth generation Mustang was gaining a lot of
exposure with its new body style, which harkened the design lines
of the original 1965 Fastback! This new modern classic sensational
was working for many models at Ford including the already
successful Thunderbird redesign. Sales were swift and the Mustang
was once again dominating the streets! Ford Motor Company also had
some early incite to send a few 2005 Premium GT models to custom
shops & specialist to enhance them for promotional use, and push
the aftermarket accessory options. One of these cars made its way
to the west coast to Bonspeed- A California Speed & Design Studio,
with the requested task to produce a Rock & Roll Rock Star style
Mustang GT! Bonspeed took on the task with great vision and we now
have it offered to the public! 2005 Ford Mustang GT Bonspeed Info:

superbly well balanced Mustang making an approximate 500
horsepower; all transferred through the factory Tremec T5 5-speed
manual transmission now fitted with a Hurst shifter! Should you
ever get tired of listening to the engine, and $25,000 audio/visual
system is at your disposal! Inside the dash now rests both a Sony
AM/FM/CD player as well as a Sony DVD player! A custom fitted box
at the rear houses twin Diamond Audio subwoofers, while all stock
speakers also being upgraded and powered by Diamond Audio
amplifiers, crossovers, and independent power supply! This Mustang
maintains all the creature comforts you need with power windows,
cruise control, tilt wheel, air conditioning, keyless remote entry,
and more! When this car was completed, it was shown and used as a
promotional vehicle before getting the chance to attend
Barrett-Jacksons 35th Anniversary Auction in Scottsdale, AZ in 2006
when it would be sold for the first. One of Bonspeeds managing
partners happens to be Van Halen bass guitarist, Michael Anthony!
Backing the car as it came to the stage, it would sell for the
large sum of $95,000! It later made it way to the Austin Rock &
Roll Car Museum in Texas. Today, the odometer only reads 1,926
making virtually brand new all respects. With exception to a few
areas of wear, likely from being shipped by trailer quite often, it
remains a difficult car to criticize! It has a clean Carfax,
Missouri title, audio remotes, and three set of keys. We welcome
questions or opportunities to review in person! It presents a very
rare opportunity to own such a unique Mustang!
