For Sale: 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado in Tucson, Arizona

Vehicle Description

 The body, paint and original interior are in great shape. No cracks in the dash. Also the engine was rebuilt according to my mechanic and I did a compression check before the purchase and the compression was great.

I then performed an extensive systems and mechanical restoration. This included rebuilding the front suspension, replaced all fuel and brake lines. Front end and rear brake system rebuilt. Replaced master cylinder and booster. Reworked the A/C and vacuum system.

The seat portion of the front seat was reupholstered and re-padded with correct stitching, welt and fabric from SMS fabrics (picture) The passenger side reclining cable and actuator were removed an serviced.(pictured). Carburetor rebuilt an rear bumper was re-chromed. Radiator and gas tank removed, inspected and cleaned. Tires have 90% remaining tread.  

All interior light's including dash and courtesy light systems work. Corning lights work perfectly.Headlights go up and down smartly. The car had a nice respray of original color autumn Bronze prior to my ownership. I had the paint detailed. The headliner has a few small holes near the window.

I have provided a pre-cut headliner and insulation original fabric from SMS fabrics (pictured) included is a Budge car cover an plastic covered colored wiring diagram. Clock and radio do not work.

The car came with the following options:

AC, electric antenna, reclining strato bench seat, head rests, original floor mats, chrome wheels, front corning light,  telescopic steering wheel, driver side adjustable mirror, trunk release, towing harness, tilt and telescopic steering column.

New parts:

Dual port master cylinder (for safety), booster (pictured), four vertical shocks and two horizontal,  steering damper shock ,roof rail and trunk weather stripping, CV boots, spare tire, chrome door guards, water pump, engine fan clutch, hoses and belts, trunk liner, trunk rubber drain tubes, thermostat and housing, hood insulation pad, speedometer cable, two rear wheel bearings , transmission pan gasket an new battery.

After completing the restoration I drove it from Salt Lake City to Tucson, AZ I averaged 80 to 85 and occasionally up to 100 mph. Zero oil was burned on the 800 mile trip.

If you want something that has been completely gone through and safe to drive anywhere for a fair price this is it.
