16,000 ORIGINAL MILES!! Absolutely beautiful with no tampering of any kind and no rust of any kind. Driving this car is like driving off the showroom floor in 1984 with no issues. Drive it anywhere, I did, from Chicago to Florida with not a problem.
This 84 Vette was purchased by a doctor in the Chicago area who bought it new on 7/9/1984 from Phillips Chevrolet. Of the 51,547Corvettes built that year, only 1433 were built with the 20/23 Light Blue/Dark Blue combination. The ONLY interior available with this paint combination was the blue sport cloth interior, which BTW is really comfortable in any climate and really looks great. All of the option possibilities were ordered with the car including the YF63 Delco/Bilstein Shock Absorbers, YZ51 Performance Handling Package (and this car really does handle) and the YUU8 Delco-GM Bose music system. This car with the exception of a new battery, tires and exact factory look but "no drone" mufflers is 100% original, unmolested condition. No rust anyplace.
The doctor bought this Corvette when he first became a doctor. He unfortunately became ill for a number of years and passed away in 2012. During his ownership he used the car minimally and according to his wife would never take it out on even a rainy day. In fact, it was covered in the garage.
I came across this car and was just amazed by the story. I got on a plane and went to Chicago to see the car for myself. I felt it was worth a trip and if it was as good as described I would buy it. After seeing the car I absolutely had to have it. It had 14,788 on the odometer and it was 100% believable
The additional options are six-way power seat, power door locks, transparent lift off roof panel, custom two tone paint speed control, automatic transmission with overdrive, Delco Bose, Heavy duty radiator and rear window defogger. Showroom Condition. This car is just immaculate and a pleasure to drive. Everything works as it should. There is a limit to the number or cars I have at any given time so it’s time for a new home for this one. This vehicle is a different C4 Vette in many ways. I can’t imagine anyone not being impressed by condition. The car is 34 years old and looks like it’s no more than a couple of years old. No disappointments with this car. Drive it anywhere. Come to Florida and drive it back to wherever. An affordable way to own a piece of history. Sure to increase in value in years to come.
