Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this stunning 1993
Mercedes-Benz 500E. This 500E is one of only 17 examples finished
in Signal Red for the US market (one of 23 globally) and the only
one produced with black interior (the rest were tan). It's a
garage-kept example sold new in Illinois but lived most of its life
in California and Texas before the acquisition of the current
Georgia owner in 2015. 111k miles but shows as a vehicle with half
that mileage. Clean CarFax report with no accidents.
Paint is believed original on all steel body panels and meters
consistently, except for the bumper moldings which have been
professionally repainted from black to red. The only other
deviation from stock are the 17-inch AMG wheels (which were also
professionally refinished and fitted with Bridgestone tires). The
original wheels are included should the buyer want them.
Excellent original interior with virtually no wear on the leather
seating surfaces, no dash cracks, very nice wood, etc. Original
Becker radio with factory CD changer has been overhauled with aux
input modification.
Runs and drives beautifully. Service records are organized in a
binder - highlights over the last ten years include tie rods,
center link, strut mounts, power steering hoses, brakes, valve
cover gaskets, caps and rotors, engine wiring harness, auxiliary
fans, power antenna, transmission and differential fluid change,
belts and more. Oil service completed at the dealer in January
2019. The original window sticker is included; MSRP was a whopping
$81,700. Records, books and tools company the sale. A rare
opportunity for a well-cared-for, "one of one" 500E.
