Vehicle Description
1935 Rolls-Royce 20/25 with an Arthur Mulliner Two-Door, Foursome
Saloon Body 1935 20/25 Rolls-Royce, chassis GRF34, with an Arthur
Mulliner two-door, foursome saloon body, first delivered to Mrs.
Jessie Thatcher by a Scottish retailer with UK registration number,
BYF7 Possibly only one other car was fitted with the same style, it
is a handsome design with a beautiful sweep over the rear wheel
arch and an intriguing "C" patterned molding on the doors.
Structurally it is very sound, with a good door fit. It has a
lovely, original interior with soft and highly usable leather
fabric. Wood is appealing, rear window shade is in place, excellent
headliner, working rear interior lights, innovative provision for
draught-free, fresh air, instantly working original trafficators
with full illumination, full set of correct instruments, open
appearance with no "B" pillar...... so much to like on this car. It
runs very well, sounds quiet, and reflects the fact that it was in
the hands of an enthusiastic prior owner and mechanic. The body is
shabby with worn and old paint but it will hopefully sell to
someone who will appreciate its rarity and thoroughly usable,
original condition and leave it untouched. It is a car that has
been largely lost in the records of Rolls-Royce gurus and its
emergence at an event such as the 2019 RREC Annual Meet would be
greeted with great attention. The car is ready for inspection near
Chicago, Illinois. Price: $69,500
