Vehicle Description
1961 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD II 6230cc Aluminum Cylinder Block
Overhead Valve V-8 Engine. Only slightly heavier than its 4887cc
F-head 6-cylinder predecessor the new V-8 made Rolls-Royce's
traditional "adequate" horsepower more than just adequate. Power
was being diffused in the early 60's with accessories like power
steering and air conditioning. The V-8 gave Rolls all it needed to
meet ancillaries' needs and still leave most traffic in its stately
wake. The "Standard Steel Saloon" from the Crewe factory was
elegant and appointed lavishly. This is a choice example of the
Silver Cloud. It has Left-hand drive for non-UK markets, and is
Nicely Equipped with Factory Air Conditioning, Automatic
Transmission, Standard Power Steering, Power-Assisted Brakes, Power
Window lifts, Fog lamps, AM-FM Sound System, Complete Set of Large
& Small Hand Tools, White Side Wall Tyres, Picnic Trays & Much
More. It was owned for many years by a Rolls Aficionado who with
pride, maintained it in Excellent cosmetic and mechanical
condition, but more importantly ready to be used and driven on a
moment's notice. The paint, chrome, upholstery, and interior trim
are Excellent. The interior wood trim and embellishments are even
better. This is a postwar Rolls that has been maintained to be
driven and used and it performs those tasks with the quality and
comfort that Rolls owners expect. A Rolls driver will not go wrong
with this 1961 Rolls Royce Finished in Stunning Sand over Sable
with Tan Hydes, this Southern Classic LHD SCII underwent a
Documented Ground Up Restoration, including Exterior, Interior,
Leather, Woodwork, Brightwork, and Mechanics. Please Note The
