1979 MERCEDES BENZ 450SL ROADSTER in VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT
virtually 100% rust-free condition overall with a deep lustrous
overall shine to the paint finish with a bit of corrosion on the
wire wheel lip and only a few minor nicks, scratches and other
light cosmetic blemishes. The canvas soft top looks to be original
and in excellent condition aesthetically and functionally. Overall
this is one still quite handsome well-preserved 40 year-old classic
Benz Roadster! THE INTERIOR The interior of this non-smoker '79
Benz is in very good to excellent condition overall with odometer
and all other gauges and controls in excellent working order, nice
wood trim and door panels and updated CD stereo! Imperfections
inside the car include broken driver side sun visor clip and some
expected light wear on the interior bits. Overall this is still one
very nice unmolested German cockpit! THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This
1979 SL starts easily with excellent running engine, smooth
shifting transmission along with excellent braking and fairly tight
and solid rattle-free suspension. This SL is still a vault-like
stately sunny afternoon cruiser that gleans much attention from
