Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the
classic and muscle car business. 1932 Fords, both coupes and
roadsters, have become the quintessential street rods over the last
87 years. Clean styling and the first mass-produced, low-cost
American V8 are two reasons that the '32's remain a cornerstone of
American car culture. As accidents, neglect, and customization took
their toll on the original bodies, new companies began making
bodies. These bodies, however, are not created equally. This
gorgeous Midnight Blue 1932 Ford Roadster is sporting a Dearborn
Deuce body, widely recognized as the finest '32 roadster body
produced. With a weight of 850 lbs., Dearborn's body is about twice
as heavy (and durable) as their closest all-steel competitor. Power
for this beauty is provided by a strong Chevy 383 stroker featuring
3 2bbl Rochester carburetors, an Offenhauser aluminum intake
manifold, an aluminum radiator, and nice headers feeding a gorgeous
custom stainless/aluminized exhaust system. A 700R4 4-speed
automatic transmission with overdrive and Ford 9 rear end with 3.55
gears and Posi complete the drivetrain. A long list of desirable
components and systems includes rack and pinion steering, front
disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C and Heat, power windows, power door
locks, cruise control, a Gennie shifter, tilt steering column, a
1940 Ford dash and steering wheel, VDO and Moon gauges, a dropped
chrome front axle, Sirius capable AM/FM stereo, hand painted custom
pinstriping, and a gorgeous interior by Glenn Kramer of Hot Rod
Interiors in Glendale, AZ. The finishing touches are provided by a
blue Haartz cloth top with a glass backlight and a set of Boyd
Coddington wheels wrapped in B.F. Goodrich tires. As can be seen in
the images, this is an extremely well-built car that will not
disappoint from any angle. Street Dreams is a full service
dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and
financing options.
