Vehicle Description
STK 2553 1952 Chevrolet Panel Truck
This classic 1952 Chevrolet panel truck was Chevy's first
generation 'HHR'. The more recent version was a little smaller, but
it is easy to see the resemblance. This panel truck has been
partially restored and mildly customized for fun and function. The
body is straight, true and very solid. The stunning repaint was
professionally applied in 2014 and is outstanding. (The vinyl
lettering on the side panels is removable, assuming you do not plan
to sell 'Farm Fresh Eggs'.) Add a period-correct windshield visor,
nice chrome grill/bumpers, old-school chrome wheels w/BFG Radial
T/A tires and the result is a great look. The detailed engine
compartment is home for a new 350ci crate motor with 12-volt
electrics including an auxiliary cooling fan. Features include a
mild cam, aluminum intake and Holley 4-barrel. Exhaust passes
through tube headers to a free flowing dual system. The GM 3-speed
automatic transmission has the shifter on a tilt column that also
mounts a vintage Impala steering wheel. Brakes are power disc/drum.
This is a solid drivetrain package. The custom interior (2014) was
very well thought out. A comfortable pair of bucket seats are
upholstered with beige vinyl and the refinished dash houses a
factory gauge package. The entire rear section of the panel truck
is nicely carpeted/vinyl paneled and has a full length LED ceiling
light console. There is also an integral Vintage Air system and
premium Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD system that fills the interior with
great sound. All of the tinted window glass is in very good
condition. This is a rare Chevrolet panel truck that will not be in
our inventory long. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
