Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this Survivor 1979 Factory Camaro Rally Sport which still retains its original numbers matching 350 engine and automatic transmission with low "Actual" miles of 99,739. The included build sheet and numerous other dealer documents fully authenticate this special Rally Sport as being legit and the real deal. This Camaro has been owned by only one family since new. This Camaro features all original paint and original decals, an original fantastic Black vinyl interior, the original factory drive line, and the factory build sheet. This Camaro has no visible rust anywhere and is very solid with great lines and gaps. There are no rust concerns anywhere on the frame, floors, rockers, or trunk. This Camaro is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Red and black (codes 75/19) over Black (code 19R) vinyl interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured above and included Build Sheet.
Exterior
The Red and black exterior is in very nice original condition. This Camaro features all original sheet metal with no patches or repairs and all original paint in factory Red and Black with all original decals. The paint is in great condition for being 40 years old with no signs of visible rust anywhere on the body or underneath and both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking paint. The paint has a nice shine and good gloss and is smooth to the touch but does has expected patina being original paint and 40 years old. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left are sized 215/60/14 and the factory wheels are OEM originals and are in great original condition and not restored with original trim rings and center caps. All weather stripping and window sweeps are original and in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original spare tire and jack, with a the original correct trunk mat.
Interior
The Black vinyl interior of this Camaro is original and in excellent overall condition. The original seat covers are in great condition with no excessive wear or rips, but there is some wear on the drivers lower bolster area. These are not replacements but factory original vinyl covers. The carpet is original with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is original and in excellent condition too. The am/fm cassette stereo works and sounds good. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner was just replaced and in new condition.
The package tray is original and in great condition. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds works. The warning buzzers and lights all work and so does the blinker indicator lights. Reverse lock out linkage is still in place from the factory on this Camaro. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Camaro is in good mechanical condition with low miles of 99,739. Most importantly the original 350 engine and original automatic transmission are still in the car with matching numbers. The brakes were recently serviced and do not pull and stop well. 4 new shocks were recently added. A fuel pump was recently added and the fuel filter and air filter were just changed. We have driven this car several times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. The smiles, thumbs up, and attention you get driving this car really adds to the enjoyment factor. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Camaro is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs good. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. There is a lot of originality under the hood and throughout the car. This is a factory AC car and all the factory AC components are still in tact on the car but it appears a recharge is needed to blow cold. The AC compressor spins freely.
