The third generation of C/K line pick up truck by General Motors
and Chevrolet lasted almost 15 years. They are also known by
enthusiasts as the "Square Body" and quite arguably the best real
trucks ever built. There were two types of beds to choose from in a
short and long wheel base, the fleetside or step side and a variety
of trim options as well.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer another classic American 4X4
Pickup. This 1986 Chevrolet K10 shows very well. We would like to
note that the Vin in the glovebox matches the title, but the vin
that is on the dash does not match the title. A different front
clip was put on the truck at some point. This truck has passed
Michign inspection, but before purchase please check with your
local DMV branch to confirm registering this vehicle.
The truck is powered by its healthy 350 v8 paired with an automatic
transmission. It rides on like new 35x13.5R15 Toyo Open Country
tires mounted on aluminum wheels. Highlights include Hedman
headers, dual exhaust, shortbed, sliding rear window in the cab,
VDO tachometer, Sunpro temperature guage, GT Grant steering wheel,
dual gas tanks, power brakes and power steering, Edelbrock intake
and carburetor, chrome K&N air cleaner Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette
player along with a Sparkomatic equalizer. The interior is in good
condition as well as the black exterior. The truck handles well and
goes down the road straight.
