Vehicle Description
If you're the kind of person that, when given a choice between two
things, you want both, then this is your car. Do you want lots of
power from a big cubic inch motor with lots of great mods including
twin four barrels, but you also want it to be super smooth and
driveable around town? Do you want a desirable classic, but you
want to drive and enjoy it? And finally, do you want the biggest,
baddest motor that can be stuffed under the hood, but you also
would like the numbers matching original? When you open the hood on
this 1970 Challenger R/T tribute, you will behold a massive Dodge
440 Magnum with some serious hot rod hardware. First are two
4-barrel carbs on an impressive Open Air Edelbrock Intake with a
mean tunnel-ram look. Then the finned aluminum valve covers deliver
the Mopar Performance message. Headers by Doug complete the
package. It looks supremely menacing, but it's also amazingly
smooth and eminently driveable. The engine is cammed and tuned
perfectly. You can have both! A 1970 Challenger is one of the most
beautiful and desirable body styles to come from the red-hot muscle
car era. Indeed, in 1970 Chrysler was on a roll. So this one has
been upgraded to R/T SE status because, well, you want it all. The
metallic green paint is very representative of the era, and is the
car's original color. The same holds true for the interior, which
features buckets seats, woodgrain center console, shift knob, and
3-spoke steering wheel. Driveability is enhanced with the
TorqueFlite automatic, power steering, and power disc brakes. The
wheels - collectible in their own right - are gorgeous 15-inch
rallyes with trim rings. Now the final choice. The power, torque,
performance and eye-appeal of a modded 440, or the original,
numbers-matching 383? You can have both. Yes, the 383 comes with
the car!
