Vehicle Description
Whoever ordered this car in 1964 must have been able to see into
the future. You could hardly spec out a more desirable package even
if you could do it today. This is a true 1964 Impala SS. It's red
on red. It was ordered with the 300 horsepower 4-barrel 327 and
4-speed manual. It has bucket seats, center console, and the
factory tach front and center. The order includes safety options
such as seat belts and padded dash. It was built in Atlanta and
sold in Honea Path, South Carolina. How do we know all this?
Because the original window sticker comes with the car. This
precious Impala was given a thorough restoration and everything is
immaculate. The engine compartment is as it should be right down to
the original windshield washer bottle. Now of course over the years
there have been some technological advancements, so this car has a
smooth-running Holley carburetor as well as an updated AM/FM radio.
But in keeping with the clairvoyant nature of the car, the original
carburetor and radio were saved and are included in the trunk! You
even get the original build sheet. Did someone know that an Impala
SS would be something special half a century into the future? It's
hard to say, but the fact is right now this unbelievable Impala SS
is a prime example, and a solid investment now and most likely for
many years to come.
