Vehicle Description
Among the most collectible of Corvettes, we are proud to offer this
fine numbers matching 427, 435 horsepower JE code 4-speed car at
MaxMotive. 1967 is a vintage year for American cars. Almost any car
you could choose that year was a pinnacle for that model. This is
certainly true with Corvettes. The '67 Corvette came about due to a
production delay in the "Shark" cars that would ultimately be
introduced in '68. With an extra year to refine the car, Chevrolet
cleaned up the design and added a power option. In '67, you could
order a 435 horsepower 427 with three 2-barrel carburetors for a
visceral as well as a visual treat. This one has it, and it's the
original, numbers-matching engine. Options include a four speed
manual - the original, numbers-matching Muncie, power steering,
power brakes, power windows, and the speed warning indicator. A ten
dollar option, the indicator had to be specified to be included. It
serves to further distinguish this car. The color is the original
option code 988 Marlboro Maroon Metallic, a great choice for this
fabulous roadster, along with the black hood stinger and the
all-important 427 badging. A beautiful saddle tan leather interior
adds to the air of sophistication. This well-equipped Vette also
has the famous finned aluminum wheels and side-mounted exhaust.
