Vehicle Description
This 1977 Ford F250 Highboy is a western truck that came out of
Montana and it is in wonderful condition. It is a Ranger XLT and
1977 is the last year of the Highboys. This is a very original
truck and the last owner treasured this vehicle. He was the 2nd
Owner and owned it since 1994. He claims the miles are original and
based on the condition we agree. The body is super straight and the
truck had 1 repaint in its original color of Silver Metallic. The
paint looks excellent!!! Being a Ranger XLT it has all of the body
chrome. Previous Owner added the Spray in Bed-liner and we believe
the front brush guard was dealer installed when new along with the
cab lights. The interior is in very nice original condition right
down to the bench seat and dash. The seat always had a seat cover
on it until we took it off. Everything inside is in excellent shape
and it is all factory Ford. Pretty Cool.
The engine in this truck was originally a 351M, but the 2nd Owner
replaced it at some point with a rebuilt 400M. Unfortunately he
could not remember what year and did not have the receipt. The
engine runs excellent and strong with no smoke and great power. He
added an Aluminum Intake and Edelbrock Carb, Headers, and Dual
Exhaust. The transmission is the NP435 4 Speed manual and it has
the Divorced NP205 Transfer Case. Dana 60 Rear End with 4.10 Gears
and dana 44 Front End with 4.10 Gears. It has Power Steering and
Power Front Disc Brakes. This truck runs and drives down the road
excellent. All lights, gauges, wipers, etc are working. These
Highboys are getting harder and harder to find for fair money.
We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, inspect it, and make sure it
is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we can
give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs
and drives.
