real Chevelle SS 427 4 Speed 12 Bolt posi rear. First off let me
say this is NOT a matching numbers car nor the original color car!!
What this car is a Rust Free with factory original panels on Top &
Bottom!! Turn key Show or Cruise car that has had a lot of $ sweet
and time put into it. I was TOLD.....this car since being purchased
new,has stayed between 3 close friends....really just 2 long time
real owners.owner #1 bought it new and kept till the mid 70's,then
became too ill to keep it. He sold it to friend #2.owner 2 kept
till about 3 years ago,then he also passed away.friend #3 being a
Mopar guy,sold it for the widow to move it on so she would have to
look at it anymore.as I have it now to list it on here sadly its
cloudy other than that...as friend #3 is into his 70's now......the
car was a 396 but between friend #1 and friend #2, the engine was
either used up,or destroyed?during that time a 360 h.p. 427 was
installed in it still has the right components and parts & the look
of the 360 version down to the right date & # on the Holley
carburetor,Muncie did not have a date on case? The M-20 and the
12-bolt is still posi-traction and 3:55 gears. Wheels are Polish
aluminum 18" Rally's all new or I could put a set of 15" Corvette
Rally,s with big rubber on it if you prefer them to the 18"
rally's. This 66 has one of the best bodies that you'll ever find
or probably come across! This is an authentic Chevelle 138 code
Super Sport with the 13817 body. I cant stress how extremely nice
and sharp this car is even the pictures as good as they are,doesn't
show how well it is.this car still retains all its born with body
panels including, rockers, quarters, trunk, floors,
fenders,etc....even the gm prone to rust areas like the bottoms of
the front fenders haven't been patched or replaced. All body lines
and body gaps are consistent and all glass is near perfect shape.
All chrome or stainless if not new its near flawless. The body down
the sides is straight as an arrow. The paint is a 9 with no
scratches dents. The doors and trunk,hood all line up and close
like they should. Still retains all 4, t-3 headlights. The one
thing that doesn't work that i know of is the wipers I think its
the switch itself,but is this car going to get taken out in the
rain anyway? I hope not so that's no big deal. The interior is all
new as good as it gets nothing over looked. This Chevelle SS is
tinted glass deluxe seat belts -gauge package seat belt retractors
M20-wide ratio transmission engine tachometer bucket seats tilt
steering push button radio unhooked floor shift console sport style
wheel rear mt antenna ,3:55 gear, power steering ,front bumper,
guard rear bumper guard. This car runs and drives as good as any
'66 Chevelle SS out there. Cars in this condition are getting
harder and harder to find because it seems people are keeping them
longer. This car has been treated to a complete body off frame.
There has been nothing left that has to be completed. It is like
new from top to bottom in side and out. The car underneath looks as
nice as the interior and under the hood! Has been highly detailed
as seen in the pictures....there's are other 66's listed out there
at any given time but please look at the pictures of the
bottom,suspension,and attention to detail. Feel free to call if
