by the prolific American designer Larry Shinoda, who also designed
the iconic 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe (C2). For the 1982 model
year, only 25,407 examples were produced, along with the only
transmission option being an automatic.Upon viewing this exuberant
C3, you're welcomed by a besuited exterior displayed in a classy
White-Silver finish, removable roof panels, Chrome door handles,
Crossed-Flag emblem on the fuel door, front fender louvers in
Black, "cross-fire-injection" emblem on the fenders, front bumper
integrated side markers, flip-up headlights, and 15-inch Aluminum
wheels. The cabin features Silver-Gray interior surfacing (to
include the leather seats, steering wheel trim, dashboard, and door
paneling areas, while the carpeting is featured in Slate Gray),
light-colored contrast stitching, center console trim in Black,
Chrome and Aluminum adorned on select interior surface areas (to
include the paring park lever, knobs, and door handle), a 3-spoke
steering wheel with Black spokes, a power adjustable driver's seat,
with audio being controlled via the factory Delco Stereo Cassette
player.Underneath the hood lies its Cross-fire Fuel Injected
5.7-liter V8 engine that when new, produced 200 horsepower and
285lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 4-speed, automatic
transmission while having the power remitted to the rear wheels.
