Vehicle Description
This is a beautiful 1935 Plymouth Convertible Coupe that has been
in the hands of serious collectors for some years now. It came out
of an estate of a classic car hobbyist and now resides with a
collector in Kentucky. The car was a tour car for 30 years. It is
and older restoration and in great condition, not a show piece but
certainly a nice, solid presentable driver. Exterior is Pilot Blue
with a tan canvas top. The boot is new and red. The chrome presents
well and is partially new and partially restored years ago. Fog
lamps look very good and are likely new. The read leatherette
interior is a recent replacement. The rumble seat still has brown
leather. All instruments are original and all work very well.
Options include a radio, clock and heater. Both the clock and
heater are in very good working condition, the radio is not
working. Engine is the original 6-cylinder 201 cubic inch diameter
paired with the manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt a few
years ago. The car drives exceptionally well and handles highway
speeds of 55 mph with no issues and a smooth ride. The engine bay
was freshened up and presents well. The system has been converted
to a 6-volt alternator that replaced the generator. Undercarriage
presents well and in solid condition. There is an area with a patch
but it has held up for years and no problems have arisen since the
repair. This 1935 Plymouth is available for viewing by appointment.
