Vehicle Description
This is just an awesome car and color combination! This is a 1967
Corvette 327/350hp Convertible with just 49k actual miles! It has
it's original number's matching motor. It was sold new in Portland,
Oregon. The wife of 1986 New York Mets World Series second baseman
Wally Backman purchased the car for him in 1987. Wally lived in
Beaverton, OR and she found the car locally. It was then subject to
a frame-off restoration and in 1991 earned an NCRS Top Flight
Award. It stayed in their collection until it was sold to a
Southern California Corvette collector and his wife in 1997. They
kept it in their collection until we purchased it in 2017. This is
just an absolutely beautiful color combination and engine
combination to own! It has been in Ray's personal garage at his
house since we purchased it. A real great representation of the
last year of the C2 Corvette!!!
