Vehicle Description
Take some time to check out all the custom details of this 1967
Chevrolet C10. But don't linger too long, because with the terrific
paint, custom A/C interior, and modern fuel-injected V8 providing
some serious power, this truck will be hauling out soon.
The first thing you notice about this truck is the paint. Chevrolet
is known for performance machine is bright orange, and so this
classic custom pickup gives off an instant intimidation. There was
a lot invested in resorting this truck ($4,600 in the paint alone)
and so it looks terrific when the sunlight hits the sheetmetal. And
we know you'll love all the custom touches, like the shaved door
handles, expertly eliminated vent windows, mirrors mounted on top
of the doorframe, and body-matching brake calipers. Plus, the
20-inch Ridler wheels not only look fantastic, but also allow for
some much more modern rubber. But as much as we enjoy the custom
elements, this also is unmistakably a classic. It has all the right
vintage features - from the mirror-like big bumpers, to the
stepside bed. And speaking of the bed, the stepside was also the
only way to get a real wood truck bed. And this one showcases that
best with the walnut lumber.
Inside, the exterior orange returns on the doors and dash. It's
combined with black on the seat, door inserts, dash pad, and
carpeting to create a very performance oriented atmosphere. This is
furthered by the wood setting wheel and upgraded Dakota Digital
gauges with large speedo and tach. But more than just the feeling
of power, they also invested in comfort. That's why the bench seat
has comfortable cloth inserts for where you sit. There's also an
upgraded AM/FM/CD head unit that features Bluetooth and connects to
a full subwoofer stereo system. And while you'll enjoy old-school
truck breezes though the sliding rear glass, there's also cold
R134a air conditioning to keep you comfortable all summer long.
There are plenty of interesting custom components on the interior
and exterior that will draw a crowd, but we're willing to bet the
engine bay is what really brings them all to you. That's a modern
4.8-liter Vortec V8 looking like a dark heart inside the bright
orange engine bay. It's the kind of OHV multi-port fuel-injected
motor that powers some of your favorite more modern GM trucks and
SUVs. It even has some nice upgrades, including inhaling deeper
through a Spectre air intake and exhaling through headers on its
way to the Wicked Flow side exhaust. What that means in practical
terms is a vintage truck that fires up easily, idles smoothly, and
has a strong powerband. Plus, the modern 4L60E four-speed automatic
transmission w/overdrive has been installed, too. That means this
C10 feels like it's always in the ideal gear whether you're in the
passing lane or cruising down the highway. The long-haul
likeability in this classic is further enhanced by a thick sway bar
up front, power steering, front disc brakes, and the trailing arm
rear suspension that made these C10s famously easy riders.
Complete with build receipts, this is the custom pickup that leaves
