Vehicle Description
This 1969 Camaro Z/28 is powered by a DZ 302/290hp engine backed by
a matching-numbers M21 4-speed manual transmission leading into a
12-bolt posi-traction differential with 4.10 gears. The Cowl and
VIN tags have never been removed. This car has X33-style trim,
unique to the Z/28 model. Options include console, power disc
brakes, special instrumentation gauges, tilt, power steering, AM
radio and special interior dcor group. This Z/28 has undergone a
frame-off restoration, and is finished in its factory original
colors of black with a black interior and white stripes. The paint
and body are in good condition, with laser-straight panels and a
nice fit and finish. The paint and trim codes match those with
which the car was originally produced. The extensively detailed
engine compartment includes the original smog system, brake
booster, cylinder heads, water pump, timing chain cover, valve
covers, pulleys, intake manifold, carburetor, alternator, fan,
voltage regulator and horn relay. This was a no-expense-spared
restoration down to the original-style exhaust system. This Z/28
carries a production date of March 1969, and comes with a 2019
report from Jerry MacNeish.
