This beautiful 1956 Bel Air was originally built for the show
circuit and where it traveled from show to show inside an enclosed
trailer protecting it from the elements. After doing this for
nearly a decade it became part of a private collectors showroom
where it was admired and pampered and later put for sale. We just
recently purchased the car and decided to make it a little more
driver friendly and added air conditioning and power disc brakes
and replaced the generator with an alternator. The car drove great
before but with the updated additions it makes for a much more
comfortable and enjoyable ride. The 265 V8 starts right up every
time and idles smooth and the transmission shifts great with no
issues. Everything works on the car including the clock, AM radio,
cigarette lighter, horn, wipers and all lights and gauges. The body
is laser straight with an excellent fit and finish and the
beautiful red and ivory paint looks great. All chrome and stainless
were replaced with new along with all glass and weather stripping.
Complete interior was replaced with new along with all stainless
inserts and chrome hardware. New wiring harness throughout the car.
Complete drive train was rebuilt back to factory specs and performs
like new. Car is very tight and sound on the road and makes for a
very comfortable and dependable cruiser.
