1921 Ford Model T Touring Car. Finished in none other than Black
Paint with a Black interior and Black soft top. This Model T is
powered by the original and authentic 177CI four cylinder engine
mated to a correct planetary drive manual transmission. The car was
subject to a previous body off restoration that has been well cared
for and maintained.This T has good heritage and was sold new in
Vermont, then spent many years in New Hampshire before finaly
making its way down to the Sunshine State where it was aquired by
its current owner. This Ford has been used in many tours, parades
and shows recently and was driven over 1,100 miles in 2018
alone.The engine, transmission, drivetrain, brakes, steering, and
wiring have all previously been rebuilt but the car still retains
the original motor body as it came from the factory in 1921. Top
and upholstery are in very good condition and the paint is nice and
shiny with a few minor age blemishes. You will find other Model T's
that look as nice as this one and are advertised for less but
please keep in mind that they will require up to $15,000 in parts,
supplies and labor to be put into the running condition of this
car. It has already been upgraded in the past year and a half to
it's current condition at a cost of over $6,000 in parts and over
300 hours of labor in addition.There was a complete repainting of
chassis, running gear, wheels, motor and engine compartment, wet
sanding and compounding of body paint, 4 new firestone tires, tubes
and flaps, compression test (passed), (does not burn oil), removed
head - cleaned carbon and installed new top engine gaskets, rebuilt
carb, water pump, starter, generator, installed new commutator,
rebuilt all four coils, installed all new interior side and door
panels and trim, installed new steering gear set, installed new
spark plugs, installed new steering gears, installed new muffler
and pipe, new battery, new gas line and valve, new wiring harnesses
and battery cables, new motor meter and cap, new running board step
plates, new hubcaps, new cooling hoses and clamps, installed
original accessory period correct aoogah horn, tool box plus
numerous other parts. Original inside and outside rear view mirrors
and wiper.Please don't make the mistake of buying a lesser priced
Model T and then have to spend hours and money contracting the car
out for all of the work this one has just had done to it. This is a
turn key driver as soon as you take delivery so you can enjoy it
right away. The car is here with us on consignment and stored at
