Vehicle Description
Somebody already did the hard work on this one. With bright red
paint, beautiful real wood bed, custom interior, overdrive
transmission, and an enhanced V8, all you need to do to have fun
immediately is come down and turn the key on this restored 1957
Chevrolet 3100.
Just one look and you can see a lot of work has gone into this
pickup. The red has that added luster from a modern application.
They removed some of the front trim to really emphasize the crisp
lines of this body, but that also doesn't mean this one misses out
on brightwork. The custom grille, bumpers, headlight bezels, side
mirrors, and much more have the shine of a solid investment.
There's even a bit of attitude added to this truck with a lowered
stance on American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. But even with these
refreshed and upgraded items, this pickup doesn't lose its original
personality. This model series was the beginning of the stylistic
wraparound windshields, and collectors know the big wraparound one
in the rear is a very sought-after option. The final vintage style
touch is the real wood truck bed with the correct alternating width
planks between bright metal strips.
More investment in this custom truck is instantly apparent the
moment you open the door. The bench seat is covered in supple
leather, and it has individual bolstering for greater comfort. The
carpeting, door panels, and headliner coordinate nicely to really
show this is a thoughtful build. And the steering wheel really ties
together this leather and chrome presentation quite well. You'll
love the details like the smooth dash finished in the
exterior-matching red, and the uncluttered design that lets people
clearly see items like the billet pedals. Plus, the upgraded full
gauge panel is a nice clue to something special under the hood.
This one has been upgraded to a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 that's
show-ready thanks to features like the shiny etched valve covers,
matching air topper, bright alternator, and an overall tidy setup.
And beyond this style is plenty of substance. The motor has been
enhanced with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock
aluminum intake. It provides extra power and also gives the
glasspack-style dual exhaust an extra hit of bass. Plus, this has
great features to keep you running down the road like a large
aluminum radiator and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission
with highway-friendly overdrive. Doesn't that sound like a truck
that was built to cruise anytime and anywhere? If you were not
already convinced of that, just look at the undercarriage photos.
Not only will you see more evidence of a clean build, but also
you'll spot great upgrades like the strong Currie 9-inch rear,
front disc brakes, power steering and the Heidts independent front
suspension with tubular A-arms.
This is the classic that drives as smooth as it looks. It's a great
total package, and all that's missing is you. Call today!!!
