For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars Chicago Showroom is this 1930
Ford Model A Phaeton. This classic Automobile is believed to still
be nearly all original. This Ford Phaeton was painted in black just
like Henry Ford liked. His motto produce as many as possible and
keep the prices cheap. This motto gave the everyday American an
opportunity to own an automobile the coolest thing at the time.
Believed to still be sporting its original paint from nearly 90
years ago its held up against time pretty well. It also sports a
red pinstripe along the top and bottom of the car giving the black
paint and body style a little extra flair. The interior is a black
vinyl with enough room for the whole family. It Sport 2 spare tires
one on each side with a white cover over the tires. The radiator
cap is a beautiful Flying bird which is a great addition to the
car. It has a clean manual convertible top as well as all the side
windows. The engine is a straight 4 cylinder producing an
astounding 40 Horsepower! This is paired to a manual 3 speed
transmission with high and low gear options. This classic spent
much of its life in California cruising along the coast I imagine.
It sits on 19 inch Red wire rims, and the odometer currently reads
11,410. It has been converted to a 12 bolt Battery. It also has had
a few upgrades including; electronic Ignition, 12 Volt Alternator,
turn signals, hydraulic Brakes, third brake light, Mitchell
Overdrive, Modern Shocks, cup holders!, seat belts, and more! For
