For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago Showroom is this
rare and highly collectable 1967 Plymouth GTX Belvedere HEMI. This
bad boy just went through a complete restoration and is ready for
any show. Painted in a clean blue with matching blue vinyl
interior. Under the hood lies the legendary Mopar 426 CID HEMI
nicknamed the Elephant and rightfully so. When this motor hit the
racing market it was at the time the biggest and most powerful
engine of the time. Open the hood and you understand how it got its
nickname. The elephant is paired to the original 4 speed manual
transmission with 3:54 gears and emits its noise through dual
chrome tip exhausts. All this power is transmitted to a Dana-60
rear end. The odometer currently reads 40,877. Inside it sports a
clean blue vinyl interior with bucket seats and the original dash.
An Equus Oil Pressure gauge has been added just to make sure this
beast is running at its max ability. It sits on the stock 14-inch
Rally Rims. To verify the authenticity of this vehicle the current
owner requested a Wise Report and it came back just as expected.
This is one of the cleanest GTX Hemi's on the market today. For
