***NEW LOWER PRICE*** Check out this head turning, horn tooting, thumbs up 1962 Ford Thunderbird coupe, offered in beautiful factory Corinthian white exterior and matching new interior. If you want to start a "back in the day" and "the one that got away" conversation with folks just park anywhere.
Ford Motor Company introduced the third generation Thunderbird in 1961. The new, sleek aerodynamic design was influenced by the fighter jets and rockets of the era giving the Thunderbird a ready-for-anything takeoff appearance that many found inspiring.
Both the 390/300 horse power engine and three speed automatic transmission have been rebuilt with only 7,800 miles on same. Options and improvements include power windows and steering, dual master cylinder/front disk brakes, 15” custom chrome rims with baby moon hubcaps accented by five Coker “gangster” whitewalls, plus fender skirts.
A Thunderbird AM/FM radio (original available) and Ford custom steering wheel enhance the interior. Mechanicals include, but not limited to, replaced fuel pump, starter, flex plate, new spare tire cover and trunk interior, upper control arms, front tie rods, fan clutch, water pump pulley, battery, plugs, Edelbrock exhaust manifold/four barrel carb and a sweet sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust system… all intended to make your ride as trouble free as possible. Maintenance records travel with the car to new owner.
This award winning '62 Bird comes with its own car cover. Value priced for sale at $17,900.
