Beautiful 1965 Classic Karmann Ghia, all stock, no rust (save for a few spots on the windshield wipers, the steering column and and above the passenger window). The red hue above the passenger window is my red tee shirt. The actual rust consists of three very small patches that need to be touched up. Original miles 49K. I love this car (has been in the family since mid 1970s) and did not plan on ever selling it, but I'm not a car buff and believe it is time to let this little car get the attention it deserves. Hard to find vintage sports car in original condition with so few miles on the engine. Runs beautifully, easy to shift gears, keeps up with traffic, hugs the road, gets its share of attention and a joy to drive. Partially restored with rebuilt 155cc engine, new fuel line, new clutch and new interior (except for dash). Excellent suspension, new tires, new battery, new paint (strayed from the Manila Yellow and opted for Ivory). 4-cylinder, 6-volt and manual transmission. Driving this peppy car is a blast from the past...somehow better without all the bells and whistles of newer cars. The original Blauplunkt radio does not work (but a cd player could be installed if you update the voltage). New carpeting (sound proofing under the carpet), new upholstery, and new headliner. There is one small burn in the back seat (see image) due to a water jug left in the car during the day. There is also one tap to the passenger rear panel that will need minor, minor repair to make this car perfect. Please refer to images and feel free to contact me with questions.
