This Ford GT was modified to bring the racing edge back to the
street. It was built using the highest quality parts available and
on top of the already impressive factory specifications. The
Whipple supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine with custom exhaust now
produces 850hp. The builders didn't stop with the engine. Countless
hours were spent setting up the chassis and suspension to find a
balance between daily comfort and track performance. An
ultra-high-performance mid-engine 2-seat sports car with an
aluminum space frame chassis, showcased the engineering prowess of
the Ford Special Vehicle Team in Ford's 100-plus year history. It
sports a 6-speed manual transmission, Speedhut custom gauges,
carbon-fiber rear diffuser, Euro-style bumper conversion and a
reverse clamshell kit. Other features include billet machined rear
deck vents, Billet machined cross braces and a KW adjustable
coilover system. CARFAX shows Ford Motor Company manufacturer
safety recalls issued on 05/27/2015: Driver airbag inflator
replacement; and on 06/30/2016: Passenger airbag inflator
replacement.
