Vehicle Description
1950 Studebaker 2R10 Pickup truck that has been converted to a 283
Chevrolet motor with a powerglide transmission. This truck runs
extremely well; very quiet, it's well insulated. The interior was
restored by a previous owner, and done very well. The carpets are
like brand new, as are the seats, headliner, sun visors and door
panels. There is no gas tank mounted in the rear of the truck
(where a 'fuel access' door is positioned). The gas tank is mounted
behind the cab. See pics for the fuel port behind the cab. This
truck is VERY EASY to drive. It will cruise all day at about 50
miles an hour, with no shimmies, no shakes, nothing unusual to
report. The driver's side window is cracked. Also the windshield
wipers are not working but most of the mechanics are there under
the hood. The 283 engine starts right up like these things always
did. They were the workhorse of Chevrolet motors and they still are
today. The suspension is very, very nice in this truck. It is a
smooth ride, not a choppy ride. You don't mind driving this truck.
All the gauges work; the radio does not. All lights work including
lights on the gauges and all turn signals. Even the little "map
light" on the dash works. This truck has been very well maintained.
It is painted white .... And not very well. The paint is very dull.
It does have seat belts. The bottoms of the doors are in very good
condition as are the cab corners, which are normally a problem on
these old trucks. The inner fenders and everything underneath are
in very good condition. It has great tires on it and a BRAND NEW
battery installed November 10, 2018. Please Note The Following
