1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe Highboy
Garage Kept Motors is pleased to present one of the nicest hot rod
builds we've ever had for sale. Our client acquired this car in
2003, right after Surfs Up Street Rods of Danville, Kentucky
finished the build. Since retried, Surfs Up Street Rods owner
Johnny Wilcher, poured so much time and perfection into each build,
that he only built two cars per year. The level of precision and
detail in this car is incredible. You simply cannot build the same
level vehicle at the price offered here.
The car is finished in beautiful House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl Paint
over a Black Custom Bucket Seat Interior. Paint and Chrome finishes
are all top-class, show quality. And here's what this vehicle has
to offer: Ronson Fiberglass Body Semi-Tubbed, Williams Chassis,
Chevrolet 427 Tall Deck, 2 Edelbrock 500CFM Dual Quads, Mild Comp
Cam, Roller Rockers, 9.5 to 1 Flat Top Pistons, MSD Ignition,
Sanderson Headers with Complete Jet Coated Exhaust and Mufflers,
Turbo 350 Trans with Cooler, Currie Polished Rear End with 9-Inch
Ford Big Bearing 3.25 Ratio Open, QA1 Rear Adjustable Shocks with
Coil Overs, 4 Bar Rear Suspension, Super Bell Front Axel with
So-Cal Hairpins and Mono Leaf Spring, Afco Viper Style Radio, Power
Windows, Black Leather Interior with Black Leather Trunk Liner,
Suicide Doors with Safety Locks, 14 Gallon Aluminum Fuel Tank,
Wilwood 4 Wheel Disc Brakes with E-Brake, Corvette Power Master
Brake Cylinder with Booster (uses Dot 5 Brake fluid only - will not
harm the paint), AM/FM CD Player in Roof Console, Classic
Instruments Tach and Gauges, Tilt Wheel on GM Column with Leather
Wrapped Banjo Steering Wheel, 15 x 4 ET Gasser Wheels (Front) with
Michelin 265 x 15s, American Racing 15 x 10 Rear Wheels with
Hoosier Pro Street Radial 12.5 x 15, 37 Ford Tail Lights with LED
Lenses and 3rd Brake Light, Valley Polished Grill, and RootLieb
Hood. Hood sides (as pictured) also come with the vehicle.
The car has been to many local shows and won many awards. Too many
to count. It has been meticulously cared for by the owner, who is
known for cleaning the undercarriage each time after driving it.
The car had a recent oil change and a brand new Optima battery
installed. The car also has power brakes and power windows. It is
titled as a 1933 Ford and comes with a clean Michigan title.
This Highboy is turn-key ready for a new garage with just 5,417
miles since built. You won't find a nicer one for the price. Be
