Vehicle Description
A real-deal 1970 Pontiac GTO presented in triple-black is already
pretty darn irresistible. But it only gets better as you see all
the things you want on a classic muscle car - from original pieces
like the numbers matching V8, to the new A/C system.
This coupe wasn't born triple-black, but let's face it, the father
of the muscle car deserves this kind of seriously mean appearance.
They took their time upgrading this later in life, and so today it
looks like it was born this way. This has a terrific appearance
with all the right pieces like the dual hood scoops, Rally II
wheels, and the Endura front end that was an exclusive hallmark of
the '70 GTO. Plus, the way the rear bumper fits into the design and
the taut black vinyl roof really give a premium feel to this one.
So overall, it's fast with class.
The black interior combines with the exterior paint and roof to
create the always desirable triple-black package. With the bucket
seats, door panels, carpeting, headliner, and much more with a deep
and dark presentation, you can tell this GTO wants to get down to
speedy business. But the premium side is always still there with
the button-top presentation on the seats as well as the wood
appliqu' on the center console and surrounding the gauge cluster.
This really has a great period-correct presentation, but keen eyes
will spot some great upgrades. For example, there is extra
insulation underneath the carpeting, and the radio is a retro-style
unit that's really a more modern AM/FM digital tuner. Plus, the air
conditioner is a new unit blowing cold with modern R134a. So you
can enjoy cruising with all the windows down on this pillarless
hardtop long into the summer season.
It wouldn't be a '70 GTO without the big 400 cubic-inch V8 under
the hood. It looks great filling out the tidy engine bay. The
proper light blue block radiates from within the darkness. It's
such a highly correct setup that you'll love telling people this is
the original numbers-matching motor. The condition of the wires and
hoses suggest the right maintenance, and the way this one fires
right up reaffirms it. The mighty V8 inhales deeply from a
four-barrel carburetor, and it makes a great rumble out of the dual
exhaust. The power steering, automatic transmission, and front disc
brakes makes the coupe good for cruising, which means you'll
happily show off this triple-black GTO everywhere.
Complete with the original Protect-O-Plate warranty card, this is a
muscle car built to look like a mean and premium machine. So you
know it will always have desirability. Don't miss out, call
