1963 Impala SS
Call For Price!
Our 1963 Impala features the great factory rectilinear styling with an engine-turned aluminum rear taillight panel surrounded by a chrome border on SS models. Engine choice was similar to 1962, with the small-block 283-and-327-cubic-inch V8s most popular. Ours has a great rebuilt and modified 350 ci small block Chevy engine.
Driver quality paint with some rust lower panels.
Our SS also features a new, creased roof line, a new "coved" instrument panel with simple indicator lights for hot and cold engine conditions. An optional factory tachometer was built into the dashboard, just above the steering wheel; it was rarely ordered, but ours has a real tach in place there.
The VIN # is: 31847B190685
The VIN for our Impala is a 12-digit number that includes one letter.
3-18-47-B-190685. The first digit (3), is the model year 1963, (18) designates Impala V8, (47) indicates a two-door sports coupe, the letter (B) represents the Baltimore manufacturing plant, and the numbers 190685 are simply the car’s sequence number. All Impala sequence numbers start at 100001, so this car is really number 90685.
